Natural Decadance |
This picture came from a board game with friends. The game is called Natural Dominance, A game about species survival during an ice age. I had my camera with me and decided to take some pictures as this board game is one of the more prettier ones my friends and I played
|
This picture is called natural decadence to show the vibrance of the game. The game can have up to six people playing, each playing a difference species. The black pieces are arachnids, the blue are amphibians, the red are mammals, the green are insects, the white are reptiles, and the yellow are avians. With 6 people playing, I thought this would make a good picture.

Jelly BeansI took this picture outside on my deck. This picture served as a proof of concept to test my editing skills. All of these rocks are just normal rocks found around the house. The colors come from photoshop. I titled this photo jelly beans as the colors of the stones reminded me of the candy.
|
Literal Jaw BreakersThis photo was given the title as a bad idea or prank. The rocks look more like a candy or food rather than a rock. Different colors were given to the rocks to show more variance. I used color balance, vibrance, color palette, and channel mixer to alter the colors of this rock.

My Collection |
Embers of the Rainbow |
This is my collection of dice. I once used my dads dice, but eventually he got tired of me using them so I had to get my own. These dice came from Canada on my trip there last summer. I used the curves to make the picture brighter and to bring out the charily of each die. I also used the vibrance to great effect, bringing out the color of each die to the best effect.
|
Embers of the rainbow was a fun, less serious name. The vibrant colors I have could be arranged in rainbow form, if the time and effort had been put to arrange them. I also tend to collect the more odd dice. I have multiple d3's and d%'s there is also a hexagonal d6. An extraordinary amount of dice exist, that I do not yet have.

The Eyes of a Camera |
8 to 1 |
These are my two lenses I have. A 1x standard lens, and a 8x zoom lens. I will often forgo the use of binoculars as the zoom lens can server better and take photos. I took these pictures as a way to show the tools I use to capture light. With this photo, I changed the vibrance, contrast, and curves to give the lenses a nice purple sheen.
|
The title represents the ratios of magnification that each lens possesses. I use the zoom lens much more than my standard, no magnification one as I do not have to get as close the the thing i'm taking a picture of. I quite like this photo as it appears to be black and white except for the little red dot that shows the locking point.

Spring Cleaning |
Shoe Keeper |
These shoes and boots have been sitting in our basement for years. When a pair of shoes grows to be too small, our family does not throw them out but more or so stores them away. This pile is a purge of all the unwanted shoes that have been sitting in boxes. They were not thrown away either, most of theses were still useable and were donated to a reuse shelter.
|
Another angle of the pile of shoes. The paper to the left is attached to my grigri, a rock-climbing device that found its way into the pile. I do not know how it got there but I left it there for the pictures. This photo was slightly blurry so I did a high pass overlay so better bring out the clarity of the picture. I used curves and vibrance to make the image better and show each pair for what it is.
